Photovoltaic installation sets new standards on Bruno Bock site

Since implementing the photovoltaic system on the company site in Marschacht in May 2023, the Bruno Bock Group has been able to cover a significant proportion of its total electricity consumption from this source, thereby making significant progress in reducing direct CO2 emissions. A total of 166 MWh of renewable electricity was produced in 2023, which corresponds to a saving of 58 tons of CO2.

The photovoltaic system on the company site will make a significant contribution to the Bruno Bock Group achieving the sustainability targets it has set itself in the coming years and making a contribution to climate protection.

By generating its own renewable electricity, the Bruno Bock Group is setting an example for environmentally friendly practices and demonstrating that sustainable action also makes economic sense.

"The implementing of the photovoltaic system is not only an expression of our commitment to sustainable development, but also a clear signal that environmentally friendly action is an essential part of our corporate policy," comments Energy Officer Mr. Tobias Vlaminck.

Looking to the future, he continues: "We will continue to pursue this course. The photovoltaic system is just the beginning, and we will continue to look for innovative ways to maximize our contribution to environmental protection while increasing our operational efficiency."
